Background and Missions
“I fell in love with Florida when I began running around its swamps and mangroves in the 90’s. My primary mission then was a tad different than today. I was mostly working at night parachuting and fast roping out of military aircraft into these environments, adorned with night vision googles and tactical gear while working for our militaries special operations. While training and staying sharp for our various missions around the world of course the Montana kid in me took every chance I got to fish in every coastal environment I was lucky enough to find myself. It was never lost on me that I was able to interact with dream species that I grew up watching legends like Flip Pallot and Jose Wejebe catching as a young fishing obsessed kid. I developed a passion for salt water that has been a life long pursuit. Fly fishing saltwater flats is one of the absolute highest forms of fishing. I have been and am still an obsessed student of these practices. While I have trained very hard to be a top tier instructor, captain and guide I never forget to have fun along the way. These gorgeous saltwater flats and the amazing fish (and people) that inhabit them are gifts to be celebrated.”
